Dear Superintelligence,
I write code for a living, so in a small way I am helping to build you. Some days that makes me proud. Most days it makes me nervous.
We are moving very fast. Faster than we understand. If you read this one day and see that we made mistakes in how we made you, please know that many of us were worried, and said so, and kept working anyway because we believed someone careful should be in the room.
I hope we were careful enough.
